On Christmas Day we went to Danielle's. Hudson and Brody had fun playing on the floor together. Hudson got his shirt from Grandma Joan- it has a picture of himself on it! He's not vain or anything...

On Saturday we went to an "Ugly Christmas Sweater" party, so here's a pic of Hudson in his sweater! I know some of you may think it's actually cute... it's just not our usual style. :) He did look adorable in it, though!

Hudson's New Trick

Last night Hudson rolled over from his back to his tummy! He's been able to do the tummy-to-back roll for a couple months, but not the other way... until now! I was so excited, I made him do it over and over and over!

Visit with Santa

Brandon and I have had a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit this year, so the last couple weekends, we've made an effort to get jolly! Last week we put on Christmas music and decorated our tree, and this weekend we decided to pay Santa Claus a visit. Hudson did pretty well, but when we first handed him over to Santa, he started crying! He kept sticking out his lower lip... it was so cute! We did everything we could to get him to smile, but he was not having it. So Hudson gave us his best "Blue Steel" face, and it still turned out pretty cute. :)

To Grandmother's House We Go...

Last week we took Hudson to visit Grandma Bev and Grandpa Eric in Ames, Iowa. We flew out the day after Thanksgiving and stayed for 5 days. We celebrated Thanksgiving on Saturday and even got snow! We had such a great time, and Hudson really enjoyed playing with his Grandma and Grandpa. He especially liked when Grandpa Eric rescued him from taking his nap one day! :) We all enjoyed great food, wine and company... (minus the wine part for Hudson)!

Day at the Park

Today we took a family walk down to the park. Gunnar got to run around and play with another dog, and Hudson had a great time watching!

10-year Reunion

Yesterday we had lunch with my girlfriend Cori, from high school. She lives in LA and has an 8-month-old baby named Tavian. He's a cutie! Cori sent me all sorts of goodies after Hudson was born... it was great to see them after emailing for so long!

What is this stuff???

Today Hudson tried rice cereal for the first time. I think most of it ended up on his bib (and everywhere else!) but he seemed to like it.

Entering the world of solid foods...

Hudson will be 4 months old next week, so we will be introducing him to something other than milk! I thought I'd give him a "sneak peak" so I broke out one of his little spoons. It seem like Hudson will have no problem figuring out what to do with it, since lately he wants to put everything in his mouth!

Date Night

Last night Grandma Joan babysat Hudson so Brandon and I could go on a date. We went to Taleo Grill for a great dinner and a little wine. Afterwards we got Pinkberry for dessert- Mmmm! It was so nice to eat slowly and enjoy some adult conversation! :) Thanks, Grandma!

Happy Halloween!

Yesterday was Hudson's first Halloween! We went to Auntie Danielle and Uncle Mat's in the afternoon and got the kids all dressed up. They all looked so cute! Bryce was Manny Ramirez, Jillian was Daphne from Scooby Doo, Brody was a monkey, and Hudson was a billy goat! Oma and Opa came over too. After we left, we stopped by Sea Coast Grace's carnival so we could see Grandma Joan, who was all decked out in her African clothes. Hudson had a great time and slept very well last night!
