A Visit with the Wheats
This weekend Zac and Vanessa came down to celebrate Zac's 30th birthday. It had been over 4 months since we saw them in Spokane, and the first time we could actually see Vanessa's cute baby bump! We can't wait to meet their baby girl (and Hudson's future girlfriend) this May!
I don't want to take a nap!
Lately when we put Hudson down for a nap, we find him like this! He tries to escape! It's pretty funny because once he sees us, he starts laughing.

A Day at the Lake
Since summer decided to start in January this year, we took advantage of the 80ยบ weather and went to the lake! Hudson had a great time being outdoors and splashing his feet in the water–even though it was pretty cold!
I got teeth!
Hudson's two bottom teeth finally surfaced last week. They've been trying to come in for a few weeks now (and many interrupted nights of sleep)... but they have made their appearance and we are all sleeping better now!

Spontaneous Studio Session
When we were at Babies R Us the other day, a woman from their photo studio asked if she could photograph Hudson. Of course, this spur-of-the-moment photo session didn't allow me to style Hudson's hair into his usual faux-hawk or dress him in a drool-free outfit! At first Hudson was confused as to why all these people were staring at him, trying to make him smile... and the bottom lip came out and he started crying! But I was able to hold him from the side and get a smile out of him.
